Common questions
Who should join?
Whoever owns the WiFi and the directory: network managers, architects and infrastructure leads. From Purple, a network engineer who runs this every week.
What should we bring?
Your access point vendor and controller, your directory and MDM, and a list of the SSIDs and device types on the network today. Count your SSIDs in the planner on the three SSIDs page first and bring the result.
Is 45 minutes enough for 300 sites?
For the design, yes. The model is the same at site one and site 300: three networks, with identity deciding the VLAN. The 45 minutes fixes the design and the pilot site. The pilot then tells you how fast the waves go.
What happens after the session?
You get the plan. If you want to go further, we stand up the pilot site beside your existing network, and you judge it before anything else moves.
What does rolling this out across hundreds of sites look like?
One site first, live in days, with your existing network running beside it. Then every other site gets the same three SSIDs from the same design, in waves you set. Each controller takes under 15 minutes to point at Purple. Managed devices pick up certificates from your MDM, and personal phones install a pass from the Purple app.
